City To Hold Public Forum on Trail and Sidewalk Improvements Tonight
The open house meeting will be held from 6pm to 7:30pm tonight at Veterans Memorial Community Center.
City officials want your input on potential bike trail and sidewalk improvements.
From 6pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday, March 16, the city will host an open house meeting at Veterans Memorial Community Center. The goal of the meeting, according to a press release posted on the city's website, is to gather community input and determine which trails or sidewalks need improvement. Improved walkability in the city is becoming a higher priority for city planners as the population of Inver Grove Heights continues to age.
At the meeting, city staff and trail planners will be on hand to answer questions and hear opinions from the public on the city's trail and sidewalk needs. Attendees at the open house will also be able to view an evaluation of the city's trail and sidewalk network.
