Congratulations, ISD 199 Retirees!

'They have changed lives of our students and staff.'

"The 2019-2020 school year has been like no other. The annual employee-organized ISD 199 Employee Appreciation and Recognition event typically brings staff together to honor employee anniversaries and retirements. However, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 event was postponed for the safety of participants and each school has held virtual celebrations, made videos, and created online thank you cards for each retiree.

Congratulations to our 10 retirees! Their combined 281 years of service and presence in almost all ISD 199 buildings has touched the lives of thousands of students and put them on a path to success. Whether they built supportive relationships in classrooms, administrative offices, or cafeterias, they have changed the lives of our students and staff. We wish them the best as they begin the next chapter of their journeys."
