The 3/4th grade IGH Cougars played the undefeated Mendota Heights Sun Devils Saturday morning. Though the Cougars were first to score, the Sun Devils put up 12 unanswered points to secure the victory. The outcome of Saturday's game ended regular season play with the Cougars finishing in third place with a 5-3 record and the Sun Devils in first place at 8-0.   Playoff games start between the 8th and 9th place teams on Sunday, while the other playoff games start on Thursday, Oct. 4.   The Cougars ended up in the top bracket (teams ranked 1-4). They are slated to play second place WSP on Thursday night—a team they beat earlier this year in a "defensive slugfest." The Cougars' final game of the season will be on Saturday, Oct. 6.
