Life is unpredictable!
I leave the house without a camera as much as I leave it without my keys. Life happens around you and you never know when you will see something worth shooting, like a double rainbow, the plane flying into a sunset shot, or the instant rain downpour on your Summit Avenue walk. To me, choosing moments to capture are more random than planned.
My friends use to call me ‘paparazzi the radio’, which was a play off the fact that I took photos of everything and love music.
I don’t take my DSLR everywhere with me, lets face it, it's a hassle to lug around a purse (which by the way is already filled to the brim, come on, I'm a women) and a camera bag, but I do have my Canon point and shoot with me about 90% of the time. When I need to travel light, I have my Galaxy SII on me which takes relatively ok photos.
There was a poll last month (May 2013) on a website that I frequent asking readers if they took their camera with them everywhere they went.
