Our morning started out at the Sparkler Breakfast where we had a chance to talk to the current royalty and meet the girls who are running for Eagan Royalty. There are so many nice girls running I am sure any one of them will do a great job! After the meet and greet we were off to the Eagan parade line-up. What a nice day it was for a parade -- a little warm but at least no rain! When the parade was over we headed over to the Midway area where my Royal family and I took part in the Royal BRAIN FREEZE! It is a challenge against other royalty (past and present) to see who can eat their bowl of ice cream the fastest without using their hands. It was so much fun to watch everyone and it is not as easy as it may sound. Last year’s winner was our own Inver Grove Heights Junior Miss 2012 Kristy Schultz. This year’s winner was Gina Soukey our very own Miss Princess! Way to go Inver Grove Heights!! The day ended with a royalty ride on the Ferris Wheel. What a Happy Fourth of July!
