Get Out: Events Around Inver Grove Heights this Weekend

Check out some of the events happening around town this weekend.

When: 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 10
Where: , 8055 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN
What: Get ready to walk the red carpet with the favorite guy on your arm. (dad, uncle, friend) Dress in semi-formal attire and join us for a delicious dinner and dancing. You'll take home a keepsake photo and flower. Hairstyling provided.
Cost: $38 per parent/child pair; $18 each additional child

When: 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10-11
Where: Simley High School
What: The one-act plays are "A Painting for Jake" by Adrain Ropal, by Caitlyn Jones, by Summer Freed, and "The Marriage Proposal" by Anton Chekov.
Cost: $8 Adults & $5 Students


When: 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11
Where:

When: 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11
Where: , 860 Cliff Rd, Eagan, MN
What: The Trails by Candlelight on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 6–9 p.m. at the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center in Eagan is still on, but with minor changes. Four miles of wooded park trails will be lined with candles for an evening of hiking, and a one-half mile ice skating trail and ice rink will be lit for skating. Bonfires will be available to warm up, and the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center will be open late to warm up or to purchase hot chocolate, hot dogs, mini donuts and more. Event is open to all ages. Bring your own ice skates
Cost: $8/person or at the door for $10/person. Ages 5 and under free.


When: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12

What: There aren't many things that beat reading to man's best friend. Bring   your kids into the library to read to certified therapy dogs. It's not   only fun, but it helps develop reading skills and fluency. Ages: 5-10.
Cost: Free.
