ISD 199 Announces Box Of Multiple Breakfast And Lunch Meals Twice Every Week From March 31

Inver Grove Heights Schools is providing free Grab and Go breakfast and lunch meals to all children, ages 2-18 years old. No identification or paperwork is required. Children must be present to receive a meal due to federal regulations.

Until March 31, a breakfast and lunch meal will be available for pickup every weekday, Monday-Friday. Starting March 31, ISD 199 will give children a box of multiple breakfast and lunch meals twice a week. Meal pickup will be limited to Tuesdays and Fridays to abide by Governor Tim Walz's Stay at Home executive order. At each Tuesday pickup, children will receive enough breakfasts and lunches for 3 days. On Fridays, children will receive enough breakfasts and lunches for 4 days.

Pickup times and locations, including new and updated locations, are as follows:

Meals will be available for pickup from 11 AM - 1 PM in the front entrance of the following ISD 199 buildings:

• Hilltop Elementary School, 3201 68th Street East
• Pine Bend Elementary School, 9875 Inver Grove Trail
• Salem Hills Elementary School, 5899 Babcock Trail
• Inver Grove Heights Middle School, 8167 Cahill Avenue
• Simley High School, 2920 80th Street East

Meals will also be available by ISD 199 school bus at the following locations and approximate times.

11:00-11:30 AM

Safety measures will be in place at all locations. Please abide by the instructions of staff in order to get meals out to children quickly and safely.
