PHOTOS: Inver Hills Kicks Off International Week With Food and Fun
Event runs lunchtime through Thursday this week at Inver Hills Community College
Inver Hills Community College students got a taste of Somali food and culture and listened to Asian drumming as part the school's International Week, which kicked off on Monday.
The Asian Diversity Club club hosted a presentation by the Mu Performing Arts drummers. Students, faculty and staff also sank their teeth into traditional Somali food and a fashion show.
The week continues through Thursday at lunchtime with different cultural events, performances and foods featured each day.

- On Tuesday the International Club hosts a fashion show, dance performance, singing, belly dancing, a Henna artist and food.
- Wednesday will feature dancing, spoken word and music hosted by the Black Student Union. Four ethnic dances, a slideshow, a contest with prizes and food will be hosted by the Ethiopian Student Club.
- The Spanish Club will present a Cesar Chavez video, a Mariachi band and food on Thursday.
All events will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Green Room at the college.
