PHOTOS: Simley's Swimmers Finish Fourth In Own Invitational
Horsch gets a third in the 200-yard breaststroke and the Simley 400-yard freestyle relay team places third to pace the Spartans
Simley High’s swimmers and divers finished fourth in the seven-team Simley Swimming and Diving Invitational Saturday.
Hudson won the meet with 602 points, followed by Orono (532), River Falls (473), Simley (403), Chippewa Falls (396), Chisago Lakes (390) and St. Paul Central (358).
Simley senior Shauna Horsch was third in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:46.38 and the team of Anna Groebner, Tasha Kneer, Madison Hayes and Brittany Jurrens was third in the 400-yard freestyle relay (4:12.72) to pace the Spartans.

Senior Jordan Sheridan was third in the 1,650 freestyle (19:51.42) and finished fourth in the 500-yard freestyle in (5:39.70),
Sophomore Jurrens took fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:32.18), senior Jordan Greene was fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:20.37), Horsch was fifth in the 200-yard IM (2.34.74) and junior Groebner placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (27.55).
