Progress Plus Economic Development to Hold “Developing a Green Corridor” seminar in South Saint Paul
South Saint Paul – Inver Grove Heights, MN - Progress Plus, the local economic development arm of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, is hosting a continuing education course for commercial realtors on December 5, 2013 highlighting the work being done to build a green corridor in the communities along the river of South St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights. One of the recent highlights include the city approval of the SaniGreen project, a major local development effort has focused on attracting other green, sustainable industries.
“This is a great opportunity to highlight the exciting things happening in South Saint Paul,” said Progress Plus President, Jennifer Gale, “our job is to attract development opportunities in our region, and if we can help the environment while we’re at it, its a win-win for our communities.”
The seminar will be an opportunity for realtors to continue to hone their expertise in these innovative new industries. The event is being sponsored and hosted by Sanimax, who earlier this year was given blessing by the City to partner with Green Energy Partners to build a $30 million bio-energy facility in the area.
