Register For A Different Attendance Option For Trimester 3 Now In Inver Grove Heights School

The following does NOT apply to families who want their child to REMAIN in the attendance option (199 Online or Option 1) that they are currently in for Trimester 3.

All families have the opportunity to change their child’s attendance option for Trimester 3 now! Students who are currently enrolled in Attendance Option 1 are able to enroll in 199 Online for Trimester 3, and students who are currently enrolled in 199 Online can now enroll in Attendance Option 1 for Trimester 3.

Families who want their child to remain in their current attendance option should NOT fill out the change form. Students will automatically continue in their current attendance option unless they complete the Attendance Option Change Form.

Attendance Option 1 for Middle and High School Students

Middle and high school students in Attendance Option 1 are currently in the Distance Learning model. However, if COVID-19 case rates continue declining, we are hopeful that middle and high school students will be able to return to the Hybrid Learning model for Trimester 3.

Attendance Option 1 for Elementary School Students

Elementary school students will begin their transition back into school buildings on Monday. All elementary schools will be in the In-person Learning model by the time Trimester 3 begins on March 15.

199 Online for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students

All students enrolled in 199 Online will stay in the full-time online learning format for the entire trimester, regardless of what changes take place at their home school.

When making the decision to change attendance options, please remember:

• The Attendance Option 1 learning model may change later in the school year. The learning model depends on factors such as COVID-19 data and district-level factors.
• Students will have the same student group (A, B, or AB) for the school year, regardless of the attendance option they choose.
• 199 Online includes opportunities for self-paced work, but it also includes real-time class meetings and lessons. 199 Online students are required to be online at certain times during the school week.
• Students are committed to staying in their Trimester 3 attendance option for the full trimester.
• Families considering changing their child’s attendance option can click here to register for transportation or update their existing registration. Please fill out ONE FORM PER STUDENT.

Families who want to CHANGE their child’s attendance option for Trimester 3 (changing from 199 Online to Option 1 or changing from Option 1 to 199 Online), click here for the Attendance Option Change Form.

The last day to change Trimester 3 attendance options will be Friday, February 12. Trimester 3 starts Monday, March 15.
