A big part of my life is helping and serving others. So, having service projects as part of my reign is an easy thing for me to do. On November 16th my parents and I volunteered at Southview Acres Health Care Center in West St. Paul. This was my first time volunteering at Southview Acres and I really enjoyed visiting and getting to know the residents. We played High Stakes Bingo, where the prizes are bigger like stuffed animals and books. When bingo was over we brought the residents back to their rooms and helped clean up and put everything away. It was a great success and I loved to see the smiles on the residents’ faces. I had a great time and the residents surely did too!! I can’t wait until I help out and see everyone again!
