Southview Animal Hospital and the University of Minnesota Small Animal Hospital

Throughout July and August, I collected old blankets and towels to donate to Southview Animal Hospital and the University of Minnesota Small Animal Hospital.  I was inspired to do this service project after my dog, Jewel, was hit by a car in June.  Thanks to the amazing care she received first at Southview Animal Hospital and then the University of Minnesota Small Animal Hospital, Jewel is now doing very well.  When we took Jewel from Southview Animal Hospital to the U of M, they put several towels in the box with her to keep her comfortable.  At the U of M, they had blankets for us to use to keep her comfortable when we went to visit her.  I was so grateful to both hospitals for taking such good care of Jewel, that I wanted to do something to help them.  That's how I decided to collect blankets and towels to donate.  I dropped off the items I collected on August 16th.  I would like to thank everyone who generously donated the blankets and towels.  I know they will be put to very good use comforting other pets.
