Traffic Delays to Begin This Week as I-35E Work Causes Closures
The I-35E Corridor Cayuga project is set to begin its first phase of construction on Wednesday. The closures are expected to last until late October.

The I-35E Corridor Cayuga project is set to begin its first phase of construction on Wednesday, and motorists on St. Paul's east side "will encounter delays as closures begin to take place on surface streets along the I-35E corridor," according to a MnDOT news release.
The following closures will take place this week, according to the release:
- Mississippi Street between York Avenue and Jenks Avenue will close at 6 a.m. April 10 and reopen in late October.
- Mississippi Street between Jenks Avenue and Jessamine Avenue will close at 6 a.m April 11 and reopen in late October.
Mississippi Street traffic will be routed onto Terrace Court, according to the release.
