On Sunday May 18th, I attended the West St. Paul Royalty Coronation. The program was very well done and very fun! Their theme was "Paradise in West St. Paul" and with that there were tropical leis, flowers and, of course, hula dancing. It was really nice being able to come to this event as my royal sisters and I attended the kick off dinner and had a chance to get to know the candidates a little bit. Seeing them again and watching them get crowned was very enjoyable. I was able to get the chance to know Miss West St. Paul really well this year, especially at Queen's Weekend. I really enjoyed getting to support her and her royal family in this last piece of their reign. Looking back on all of the memories that were shared and seeing what a great year the girls had truly moved me -- I can certainly relate to these feelings. At the reception afterwards, I visited with the outgoing princesses and queen, as well as the newly crowned Miss West St. Paul. I am very happy for the new family and am excited to get to know them more this year as I finish out my reign!
