• Jasper Council approves temporary help following resignation (pipestonestar.com) — Jasper residents face changes at City Hall after the council accepted the resignations of city clerk/treasurer Renae Jennings and assistant public works employee Kevin Jennings, and approved temporary help from former clerk Trinidad Garcia for 2027 budget work. Jennings' resignation letters describe what she calls a toxic workplace and disputes over building access and staff treatment, while city officials say their attorney found no wrongdoing.
