Blotter: Mound Police Investigate Burglaries, Possible Peeping Tom

A selection of notable incidents as reported by the Mound Police Department occurring between Nov. 15 and Nov. 24.

A 24-year-old Mound man was arrested just after 2:15 a.m. on Nov. 24 on suspicion of second-degree DWI. The arrest took place on the 6300 block of Lynwood Boulevard. Test results are pending.

Police responded to a Nov. 22 personal injury accident just before 5 p.m. on the 5000 block of Shoreline Drive.

Wooden pallets valued at more than $150 were reported stolen Nov. 21 from a business on the 4800 block of Shoreline Drive. Police contacted the suspect, and they returned the pallets to the business.

Three separate accidents resulting in property damage occurred on Nov. 19: just after 2:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of Tuxedo Drive, on the 5200 block of Phelps Road and just after 9 p.m. on the 5000 block of Shoreline Drive.

A burglary was reported at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 19 along the 4800 block of Tuxedo Drive. Stereo equipment valued at $600 was taken from the residence. No other information is available.

Police have received several reports of change being taken from unlocked vehicles in the area around Arbor Lane.

A 44-year-old Mound woman was arrested on Nov. 17 for domestic assault. The arrest took place on the 4900 block of Wilshire Boulevard.

Police received a report of a man looking into the window of a home on the 5600 block of Grandview Boulevard. The incident was reported around 3 p.m. on Nov. 15. No other information is available.
