Cottagewood General Store Now Open for the 2013 Season!

The Cottagewood General Store opened on Saturday, April 27th and we are very excited to be celebrating our 118th anniversary.

The Cottagewood General Store opened on Saturday, April 27th and we are very excited to be celebrating our 118th anniversary. We think that's pretty special and we hope year 118 will be one of our best seasons ever.  We are also delighted that Laurie Jenkins is back for her 8th season as store manager!

During the winter months, Cottagewood Community Foundation members, dedicated volunteers and Laurie worked hard to maintain and improve this Deephaven landmark and Lake Minnetonka treasure.  Thanks to a donation from Vine Hill Partners we were able to remodel our bathroom.  We purchased a new water softener and triple filtration water system that will allow us to make better tasting coffee. And, we installed a new, more energy efficient heating and A/C system thanks in part to the generosity of some Deephaven poker players.

All the things you love about the Store are back this season . . . CTWD artisan chocolates, salads in a jar, Heggie's pizza, smoothies and Slush Puppies, Sebastian Joe's ice cream, fresh-baked cookies, fruit-n-yogurt parfaits, a huge assortment of soft drinks and candy, loads of lake lifestyle home accessories and apparel and lots, lots more.
