Hooked On Golf is a program of the First Tee of Three Rivers Park District. The goal is to encourage youngsters to have fun playing golf. As part of this comprehensive program, each participant is given a new starter set of golf clubs, t-shirt, and hat. Know your child's height, shirt size, and whether right- or left-handed BEFORE registration. Lessons are taught in one-week sessions and will cover the basics of golf and will also introduce Par Level 1 life skills. Sessions also include a special 30-minute presentation each day covering golf etiquette, golf course maintenance, and the environment. Other activities may include climbing on a rock wall, dodge ball, and a naturalist presentation.
