Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. A Wayzata man working at a U.S. Forest Service campground near Ely, MN died May 16, 2013 from injuries after a tree fell on him, <a href="http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/267485/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the Duluth News Tribune</a> reported. Douglas Raymond Harris was apparently in the process of trying to drop the tree at <a href="http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/superior/recreation/camping-cabins/recarea/?recid=37033&amp;actid=29" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Birch Lake Campground</a> in the Superior National Forest when it "just came down wrong," Lake County Sheriff Carey G. Johnson told the <a href="http://www.elyecho.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Ely Echo</a> newspaper (in a print-only article). Harris was working at the north end of the campground, the Echo reported. He was a forest service contract employee, according to the News Tribune. After being taken to Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital in Ely, he was pronounced dead. Minnesota workplace safety officials were part of the investigation of Harris' death, <a href="http://www.startribune.com/local/west/207904721.html?refer=y" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">the Star Tribune</a> reported.
