In Photos: Boys Lacrosse Can't Catch Edina
A late Wayzata rally falls short, as Trojans fall 11-9 to Edina.
The Wayzata Trojans battled conference rivals the Edina Hornets to a 4-4 tie at the half, but a strong third quarter by the Hornets doomed the Trojans.
Wayzata was behind by as many as five goals in the fourth quarter before a late rally made things interesting. Wayzata scored three quick goals but couldn't catch the Hornets in the closing minutes, losing 11-8 to their conference rival and dropping to 4-7 overall on the year.
