Local Aces Look to Turn Heads in Section Tennis Play
Wayzata High School will be well represented at this week's tournament.

The Section 6AA boys tennis individual and doubles championships begin today at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
The event begins at 8 a.m. and resumes with the semifinal and championship matches on Wednesday.
Wayzata’s Dustin Britton took the No. 3 seed in the individual tournament and will face either Edina’s Jon Yang or Hopkins’ Andy Harris in the second round. Teammate Scott Vezzosi has secured the No. 4 seed and will face either Benilde-St. Margaret’s Jimmy Borin or Minneapolis South’s Henry Bergmann in the second round.

In doubles, Wayzata’s Michael Anderson and Ketan Kulkami will face Benilde-St. Margaret’s Keegan Swenson and David Jarvis. Meanwhile, Sallstrom and Kornberg took the No. 5 seed and will face either St. Louis Park’s Joshua Anderson and Zach Swanson or Robbinsdale Cooper’s Ian Jones and Peter Nguyen in the second round.
