Local author and storyteller John Freivalds, joins us at The Marsh

 John Freivalds, will discuss his fifth book, ‘Til the River Runs Dry at The Marsh on Wednesday, July 17th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.‘Til the River Runs Dry is a memoir of the adventurous life of Margo Mogush Frievalds, John’s wife of 20 years.  At age 42, dissatisfied with the corporate rat race, Margo dropped out and decided to backpack alone through Asia.  She kept copious diaries of her experiences – diaries that John discovered in a steamer trunk after he lost Margo to cancer.  He scoured her words and the globe to understand her fearless passion for adventure, her resilience and, in writing this memoir, he came through his grief.  Free event including refreshments.
