Mama’s Happy Occasional Shop celebrates Mother’s Day weekend with special events at its location at 7888 County Road 6, Independence, MN. On Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8, moms enjoy free refreshments 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Also on Friday, May 8, kids can create their own upcycled project to gift to a special person in their lives. The Occasional Shop will have free materials and instructions for kids to create a painted flower can and paper flowers. Potting flowers will be available at a small cost. On Mother’s Day Sunday, May 10 from noon-5 p.m., moms can enjoy free refreshments, and the shop will have a “Show Mom Some Love” photo booth set up where customers can have photos taken on their own devices.
