Founded by Deborah Peteler, AnnapurnaBlue offers transformative wellness retreats and programs designed for individuals navigating life transitions, health challenges, emotional overwhelm, and personal reinvention. With over 30 years of experience in trauma-informed care and holistic wellness practices, Deborah blends ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic approaches to create safe, supportive environments where real healing can take place. Our retreats — held both locally in Minnesota and internationally — are intentionally designed to help participants slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves. Through gentle Qigong movement, meditation, sound healing, breathwork, mindset sessions, and meaningful group dialogue, participants gain tools to manage stress, navigate change, and build emotional resilience. AnnapurnaBlue is especially supportive of women ages 35–70+ navigating grief, life-altering illness, menopause, empty nesting, career transitions, and other profound shifts. Timothy Arnold, band teacher at <a href="https://patch.com/L-r8RP" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Orono High School</a>, contributed to a panel discussion at the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago over the weekend.  Arnold discussed the triumphs and challenges of his first teaching experiences. The information shared in the session will inspire, challenge and benefit future and current music educators. Clinic attendees will learn about the specific challenges that many young music teachers face, including curriculum and music selection, relationships and trust with older adults, classroom management, earning the respect and trust of students, and motivating young musicians.  Arnold's first-year teaching story has been published in "The Music teachers First Year: Tales of Challenge, Joy and Triumph" by Dr. Elizabeth Peterson.
