Orono's 10AA baseball team named champions of Eden Prairie Tournament.

Orono 10AA baseball players gave their moms a special treat for Mothers Day: they won the Eden Prairie Tournament.

Orono beat teams from Edina, Apple Vally and Albert Lea, before toppling Eden Prairie in the championship game 10-1. 

The boys celebrated the victory with a trip to Dairy Queen.

The team is led by head coach Jim Buck and assistant coaches Richard Jordan, Paul Tichey and John Anderson.
