Spring Park Man Faces BWI Charge After Wednesday Arrest on Lake Minnetonka
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office has been cracking down all summer on intoxicated boaters.
A 25-year-old Spring Park man was arrested on Lake Minnetonka yesterday and on booked on probable cause third-degree boating while intoxicated (BWI) and refusing to submit a blood or urine sample for testing.
Dustin Byfuglien was taken into custody at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. The arrest took place on Lower Lake South on Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior. Byfuglien was released from jail this morning.
The case will be presented to the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District attorney for consideration of charges.
