SUGAR LEADS TO HEART DISEASE
As already established, too much sugar in the blood stream causes inflammation. This leads to the OXIDATION of cholesterol which is the true source of heart disease. It is the norm in our country to be prescribed a cholesterol lowering drug for a lifetime vs. addressing the source of the elevation.
“For many people, cholesterol drugs may not do any good. For the majority of patients who don't have heart disease, there is no benefit. For people over the age of 5, no matter how much their cholesterol declines, there are no benefits; and there is no benefit in women of any age. The way our health care system runs, it is not based in data, it is based on what makes money.” – Business Week , Jan 17, 2008
Statins can't be proven to reduce the risk of heart disease, heart attacks and mortality just because they lower cholesterol. They provide false hope with the side effects of muscle wasted (rhabdomylsis), liver failure, headaches and digestive disorders. Statins can be clinically hazardous to your health.
