Wayzata Falls to Hopkins in Section Play
Quarterfinal loss comes after Wayzata rallied to knock of St. Louis Park in post-season opener.
Just a week ago, Hopkins rallied late on Wayzata to defeat them 3-2 at the end of the regular season.
The teams met again in the first round of section play, and this time Hopkins came out swinging—taking a 5-0 lead in the first two innings.
Wayzata mounted a three-run rally in the middle innings, but the game was put out of reach on a sixth inning opposite field homerun by Hopkins Kyle Dalton.
