Wayzata Lake Effect: Community Design Workshop

Anyone who lives, works or loves Wayzata is invited to participate in a series of workshops as part of the 10-year lakefront planning initiative. Through a hands-on community design process, all interested community members become part of the design team and will work alongside design professionals to translate the Community Values approved in Phase I into design concepts.

Register above for one or all of the workshops taking place in June:

  • June 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • June 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • June 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • June 20 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

All workshops take place in the Community Room of the Wayzata City Hall, 600 Rice Street E.

All sessions will cover the same content and follow a similar flow. The main difference between the two-hour and four-hour sessions is that the long version will include a
more structured group walking tour to explore and photograph the
lakefront experience. In the shorter version, the walk will happen virtually within in the Community Room.
