3 Found Dead In Farmington Home, 1 Arrested
The Farmington police chief said it was "not a random incident." A homicide investigation has been launched.
FARMINGTON, MN — Farmington police launched a homicide investigation after three people were found dead in a home Wednesday night.
Just before 9:30 p.m., police received a request to do a welfare check at a home on the 5400 block of 183rd Street West. At the house, officers found the bodies of three adults.
A man was taken into custody and is being held at the Dakota County Jail.

"I want to reassure the community that this was not a random incident and there is no ongoing danger to the public," Farmington Police Chief Gary Rutherford said in a statement.
"We are not looking for any additional suspects."

The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
