• Man Dies After Lakeville Shooting, Police Investigating (patch.com) — Lakeville residents are being urged to share any information they have after a man died from a gunshot wound following a Sept. 6 incident on Flagstaff Avenue. Police, fire, and EMS responded quickly, but the victim later died at Hennepin County Medical Center, and investigators are still working to determine what happened. Authorities say there is no known ongoing threat to the public, but no one is in custody yet.
   

• Lakeville Man Charged With Felony DWI Test Refusal; Three Young Juveniles Allegedly in Vehicle (limitless-news.com) — A 27-year-old Lakeville man is facing a felony DWI test-refusal charge after a traffic stop in Lakeville where police say three young juveniles were in his vehicle. According to the complaint, his license was already canceled as inimical to public safety, and a prior felony DWI conviction elevates the new charge, though he remains presumed innocent while the case proceeds.
