'Anonymous Threat' At Lakeville South High School Being Investigated

LAKEVILLE, MN — Lakeville police are investigating an "anonymous threat" involving Lakeville South High School, the department said Tuesday morning.

In a statement posted at 10:10 a.m., the Lakeville Police Department said there are no reported injuries or known acts of violence. The department asked people to avoid the area and not come to the school.

Parents, students and staff are being told to follow updates from Lakeville Area Schools.

Multiple police agencies and the Lakeville Fire Department had earlier responded to the school amid what was described as ongoing police activity.
