• Lakeville's Bob Erickson honored for city accomplishments with statue dedication (hometownsource.com) — A new "Tribute Tree" sculpture now honors former city administrator Bob Erickson at the Lakeville Area Arts Center in historic downtown Lakeville. Community members gathered Sept. 20 for the dedication, recognizing Erickson's key role in transforming the former All Saints Catholic Church into today's arts hub at 20965 Holyoke Ave, complete with a plaque and seating nearby.
   

• Lakeville cafe listed among the nation's best independent coffee shops (bringmethenews.com) — A beloved Lakeville coffee shop, Tapestry Coffee, has been named a finalist in USA Today's national readers' choice poll for best independent coffee shop, with both of its locations right in town.
