• Lakeville Woman Charged With Felony After Alleged Gunfire During Domestic Dispute (limitless-news.com) — A Lakeville woman has been charged with felony reckless discharge of a firearm more than a year after alleged gunfire during a domestic dispute inside a local residence. Investigators say surveillance video, neighbor accounts, and recovered firearms with matching DNA support the charge, though no one was reported shot. She has been summoned to court and remains presumed innocent while facing potential prison time and strict release conditions.
• Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Thomas (dundasmn.com) — A longtime educator who grew up in Lakeville and attended All Saints Elementary and Lakeville Junior High has died unexpectedly at age 79. Services will be held next week in Faribault, with visitation the evening before. Her family is directing memorials to local Catholic school scholarship and endowment funds that reflect her decades of teaching and faith-centered service.
