Lakeville Superintendent Presented With Repurposed 1966 Chevelle Dashboard

Lakeville Area Public Schools Superintendent Lisa Snyder received a surprise just before the winter break when Board of Education member Bob Erickson, along with Scot Drotning, Crystal Lake Automotive Collision's production manager, and Karl Drotning, Crystal Lake Automotive's owner, presented her with a repurposed dashboard of a 1966 Chevelle to serve as the District Dashboard.

In her first year as superintendent, Snyder outlined a series of goals, objectives, major activities and a timetable for her transition to the role of superintendent. Referred to as her "Dashboard of Quality Indicators," Snyder introduced this concept to track her progress in each of these areas to the Board of Education in a study session in August.

The District Dashboard has been mounted in the Board of Education Boardroom and will serve as a symbol and reminder of dedication of the Board of Education and the Superintendent to these quality indicators.
