
Oscar Alvin Ronglien, 87, of Lakeville, age went to the arms of the Lord and his mother on April 28, 2013. He was born February 13, 1926 in Hegbert, MN, and graduated from Owatonna High School in 1943. He was a proud member of the U. S. Army and fought for freedom in Italy in World War II. After the war he lived in Milwaukee where he worked for the United States Postal Service. He also lived in Richfield and Prior Lake. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Caldwell Ronglien. He is survived by his son, Lawrence David Ronglien (Lynn Duffy); by his daughter, Barbara Ann Lillestol (Brook). His grandchildren were the pride of his life and he is survived by Michelle Norsten (Andy), Stacey Schmitt, Andrew Schmitt (Jenny), Kayton Johannsen (Andrew), Ryan Schmitt (Hannah Crocker), Laura Schmitt, Cody Lillestol, Madison Schmitt, Joseph Schmitt, and Arsenio Richardson (Stephanie). He also had eight great-grandchildren that he loved. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Mary Ronglien. As was his wish, services are private. Memorials preferred to the family or to the Cancer Care Center at Regions Hospital. His family is grateful to have had him in our lives. We will honor his memory every day!
