Rachel L. Ulrich

Rachel L. Ulrich, 17, of Lakeville, our beloved warrior princess was carried to heaven by the angels and joined Jesus on April 24, 2012, following a courageous two-year battle with melanoma. She fought with dignity and grace and is a shining example of love, faith and hope to every life she touched. Rachel is preceded in death by her great-grandma and grandpa, Hulda & Samuel Bollinger and grandfather, Lawrence Brauer. She is survived by her loving parents, Deanna and Tom Buesgens; big brothers, Anthony, Tayler and Mason; beloved Cami; grandparents, Joyce Brauer and Merlyn and Rene Buesgens; beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and faithful friends. Rachel affected the lives of many by her faith, compassion and love for others. Her compassion and spirit were shown through her laughter and smile. Her faith is an inspiration to all who had the blessing to meet her and who are still being intimately touched by the story of her journey. Our angel Rachel was given the gift of loving and caring for God's children which she will proceed to do in heaven. We wish to extend overflowing gratitude to Rachel's care team who tirelessly fought beside her throughout her battle. Funeral service Friday, April 27, at 4:30 p.m., in Hosanna!
