Volunteer host families come from many backgrounds including families with teens or young children, empty nesters, retired couples, singles and same sex couples.  All families are encourage to apply.  Host families are fully screened with in-home interviews, criminal background checks, and references must be provided.  Student profiles may be viewed on a secured website and host families have the opportunity to select a student that matches with their family background and interests.
