Antlers Park Transforms Into a Menagerie for Pet Show

Youth pet owners displayed their animals during the annual Pan-O-Prog Pet Show on Thursday morning.


Kids of all ages were treated to a menagerie during the annual Pan-O-Prog Pet Show at Antlers Park on Thursday morning.

Dozens of dogs, as well as hampsters, guinea pigs, turtles and birds, were on display for the hundreds of residents to admire.

The pet show was open to children ages 12 and under and their animals. Pets were judged in a variety of categories: most unusual, most colorful, best dressed, best behaved dog, neatest reptile or rodent, softest, best animal trick, pet that looks most like its owner, largest cat and largest dog.

“Child's knowledge of care and feeding of pet, child's handling fo pet and pet's overall appearance will be included in judging,” says the Pan-O-Prog website.
