City Council Work Session, School Board Meeting This Week
Council continues 2012 preliminary budget discussion. School board welcomes new superintendent.
The Lakeville City Council will hold a work session tonight beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Marion Conference Room at City Hall. The council will continue its discussion of the preliminary 2012 budget. The general fund, parks and recreation, economic development, and liquor funds will be among the portion of the budget being discussed.
The Lakeville Area Public Schools will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 23 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the district offices. The school board will welcome new superintendent Dr. Lisa Snyder to her first official meeting.
