College Basketball Offers Pour in for Lakeville North's J.P. Macura

Among the names: Purdue, Butler, Minnesota, Kansas State, Florida State, Boston College, Auburn, Creighton, Xavier and Iowa State, according to online reports.

Lakeville North High School basketball standout J.P. Macura continues to pick up offers to play college basketball, media outlets report. 

According to 247Sports.com, Macura had words of admiration for Purdue: 

"'That's a big-time program. They have a great history and everything,' Macura said when asked about Purdue prior to their offer. ...

"Other schools like Butler, Minnesota, Auburn, Creighton, and Xavier are among his newest offers."

That's a slightly different list than Macura gave to the Star Tribune in a recent Q&A interview in which Butler and Minnesota had already come up:

"What are the biggest ones that have jumped on board recently? As far as offering? Well there’s Butler, Kansas State, Florida State, Iowa State, Boston College, Xavier, I think that’s it."
