Dumb Criminal: Photo Gives Away Driver Lying About Name

Officer Sarah Parr was on patrol this week and ran a registration check on a vehicle and found that the registered owner had a revoked driver’s license. Officer Parr noticed that the driver matched the description of the registered owner and stopped the vehicle.

The driver told Officer Parr that she was not the registered owner and gave Officer Parr another name. Officer Parr went back to her squad car and checked the photo of the registered owner of the vehicle on her squad computer and found that it was the driver.

Parr confronted the driver with this information and the driver admitted to giving Officer Parr a false name because she knew her driver’s license was revoked.

Officer Parr cited the driver for Driving with a Revoked License and the additional charge of Giving a False Identification.
