The Lakeville Early Childhood Family Education (E.C.F.E.) Advisory Council announces the tenth annual Kids’ Stuff Sale taking place on Saturday, April 20, 2013.  The sale runs from 8:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Kenwood Trail Middle School in Lakeville, Minnesota.

Sale items will include all seasons of maternity and children’s clothing (infant through size 14), toys, books, videos, and baby equipment. A $1 admission fee per adult will be charged until 10:00 a.m.  Merchandise will be sold at half price from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and a $5 bag sale will follow from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Cash or check will be accepted.

The E.C.F.E. Advisory Council is seeking consignors and volunteers for the Kids’ Stuff Sale. Consignors will earn 70% from the sale of their items and avoid the hassle of organizing and advertising their own garage sale! Consignors and volunteers may also pre-shop the sale on Friday, April 19 at the exclusive pre-sale event. New this year, consignors can pre-shop first beginning at 7:00pm! Donations will also be accepted on Friday, April 19 from 4:00-7:00pm.

All proceeds from the Kids’ Stuff Sale will go directly to the E.C.F.E. Advisory Council which uses all money earned to purchase educational materials for the Lakeville Area E.C.F.E. program and classrooms. No for-profit group benefits from this sale. E.C.F.E. is a Lakeville Area School District Community Education program that strengthens families with young children through education and support.

Tara O’Hearn, sale organizer, said, “This is a great opportunity for the community to buy and sell children’s clothes, toys and other items at affordable prices while raising money to benefit Lakeville Area E.C.F.E. programs.”

Those interested in consigning or volunteering can visit www.lakevilleecfesale.com or e-mail lakeville.ecfe.sale@gmail.com for more information. The deadline to register as a consignor or volunteer is Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
