Now through April 24th, 2011, residents may order up to 10 bare root (not potted) trees in Lakeville’s Arbor Day Tree Sale. There are a limited number of trees so order forms will be processed via a first come, first serve pre-pay system and applicants will be notified by mail or e-mail confirming as to which trees are reserved for them. Residents may also want to consider purchasing an Autumn Blaze Maple tree (s) as a donation to a City Park. While the City assures that these trees come from a reputable nursery, it does not extend a warranty for replacement. To avoid long lines, purchasers will be assigned a specific pick up time on Saturday, April 30th, between the hours of 8:00 AM-11:00 AM. Those who will be unable to pick up trees on April 30th should not apply as this is the only available day for tree pick-up.
