Godspell features Jesus Christ as a wandering minstrel dressed like a circus clown and is told almost entirely by music. When he blows on an instrument that reaches only the ears of a select few around the city, John the Baptist summons nine people to a fountain in Central Park, where they revel in the waters of their baptism and proceed to wander and re-enact Biblical parables.
Performances are on March 11-12, 17-19 & 24-26, 2011 – 7:30 p.m. and March 13, 20 & 27, 2011 – 2 p.m.
