Ages 8 to 13. Golden Ridge Stables in Lakeville is offering a unique “hands-on” experience to introduce your children to the exciting world of horses! We’ll cover breeds, safety, leading, tying and other “horsey” topics. Then, each child will saddle-up and learn basic riding skills.
For safety reasons, participants must be physically and cognitively able to ride a horse on their own. Participants are required to wear jeans and boots; riders will not be allowed to ride in tennis shoes. Helmets provided.
