
Opening on June 2 at the is a World Travel Photography exhibit by artist Becqi Sherman. The exhibition continues through the end of June and may be viewed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There is a special artist’s reception on June 6 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Becqi Sherman is known by day as a Deputy Sheriff. But in her free time Sherman moonlights as a photographer. After years of adventuring around the world with her camera in tow, Sherman formed her own photography business in 2011. Her subject matter focuses primarily on travel photography which includes lush scenery, exotic destinations, historic architecture, tropical foliage, island animals, coral reefs, and undersea creatures. Sherman, who is also a professional scuba diver, has spent time throughout the Caribbean, Europe, South Pacific, Western Pacific, and the United States collecting a unique variety of images from both topside and below the surface of the water.
