Remember to Clear Snow From Around Fire Hydrants

Please remember to clear and shovel out hydrants in front of your home or business. This greatly helps fire-fighting operations during inclement winter weather.

By the Numbers

During the week of Nov. 28 through Dec. 5, 2010, the Lakeville Fire Department responded to 23 calls for service, including four motor vehicle accidents (two with injuries), three medical calls, one call for smoke or odor removal, one electrical problem, six false alarms, one police assist, and seven good intent calls.
