Lakeville Hit-And-Run: Police Seek Public's Help Finding Driver
The Lakeville Police Department is trying to find the vehicle and the driver who left the scene of a crash on Cedar Avenue.
LAKEVILLE, MN — Lakeville police are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect in a hit-and-run last week that left one person injured.
On Wednesday just after 5 a.m., a car and a motorcycle crashed on Cedar Avenue, just south of County Road 70.
The motorcyclist was thrown onto the southbound lane of Cedar Avenue. A third car — not involved in the initial crash — then struck the motorcyclist who was lying in the road.

The third car pulled over to the side of the road for about 30 seconds before driving off, witnesses told police.
The Lakeville Police Department is still working to identify that vehicle and the driver who left the scene. The vehicle in question was described as a cream-colored Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis.
